I just thought I’d post something about the Star Wars commercials I’ve been seeing - you know, the ones advertising the release of the original trilogy on separate DVDs (w00t…?). Everyone’s always analyzing how the original movies had all ’70s hair, and how for Episode III, they gave the main characters ’70’s hair cuts to fit the continuity. But now ’70’s hair is pretty much back, and I find it interesting to watch teenagers with hair at their shoulders talking about Luke Skywalker - it’s really like I’ve just stepped back three decades.
