Been a while…

February 20th, 2006

So, I’ve been sick for a month now, and I’m not getting any better. I’ve been missing rehearsals and there’s less than a month until Twelfth Night… I better not miss any more. On the bright side of things, I’m switching my bedroom and office, so I’ve been busy painting those and getting ready to do a gigantic move. I guess it’s not so bad, except for the little details, like how I spent 4 hours yesterday painting one wall. But it’s a very pretty wall, if I do say so myself.

I’m planning on a DDR party at my house soon, so people should tell me when would be a good time. It’s gonna be freakin’ awesome. Plus, I’m asking whoever’s in charge of the talent show if I can play DDR for it. Imagine: you’re watching the endless dancing and random singing, when suddenly, out of the blue, this random kid gets on stage and starts playing So Deep. Excellent. Of course, this is assuming that they’ll let me play DDR for the talent show…

Why is everyone so mad at me for not taking French next year? Personally, I’m surprised that there were only half a dozen people that aren’t going on to French IV. Speaking of which, why do we use Roman Numerals to talk about course level? It’s kind of ridiculous, if you ask me. I’m getting pretty nervous about C’ville players auditions. Yes, they’re still over a month away, but there’s only 15 spots available for next year! There must be over 30 or 40 people trying out. It’s gonna be really depressing when we find out who didn’t get in.

Ooooh, painting. Me loves it. I hope it turns out nicely.

Ummm… DDR party. It’d probably be best to do it on a Friday, or else on a Saturday some time into the future. Otherwise Forensics and other stuff is going to get in the way.

I decided to do Tech for that reason; A) I wanted to do either one and neither really took precedent over the other, and B) Because SO many people are trying out. Good luck. :)

Twelfth Night = panic inducing.

DDR party = sign me up. I agree, better to it on a Friday as opposed to a Saturday.

French = lame, but I suppose I’ll stick with it. I’m kind of surprised, too- it seemed like more sophomores dropped their language last year.

C’ville players = not even on my mind. Too much other stuff to worry about. And do you need to worry at all, Michael? I don’t think anyone else auditioning can claim that they have been in every single CHS theatre production offered while he was enrolled.
