Don’t complain about my post for sucking; I won’t feel bad if you skip it
November 10th, 2005Wow, I just did something incredibly stupid. I sent in two auditions for some radio dramas on the Voice Acting Alliance. If my webcam was working you could see me banging my head against my monitor right now. Ah well, I figure I need to learn to get a tough skull (and that saying has nothing to do with the last sentence I wrote).
I’ve certainly been having fun the past couple weeks. Science fair, having to talk to teachers alone with them in their rooms (which, depending on the teacher, can be very frightening), and rearranging my office (which, since it’s me, is actually quite fun). I’m trying not to think about the scouting report that’s due on monday, or the Hamlet critique due on tuesday, or the impending math homework. Ok, to be fair, my homework load for the next week is probably the lowest it’s been in over a month; but that doesn’t mean I can’t complain. Complaining’s fun.
So, the play I’m currently planning on doing for the spring one-act (which by the way is a semester away so it’s completely pointless for me to start planning already) is called Going to School, by Ed Monk. If any of you want to take half an hour out of your day to read a script that isn’t even complete due to copyright reasons, be my guest.
