Swam-mam-mam-mam-mam-mam-mam!

So, we won the District Theatre competition again. Blah, blah, blah. It was fun, and we get to go on to Regionals in three weeks. And I was looking forward to a month without theatre! Plus, we don’t even get to travel. Ah well, it’s still a bit of rest.

Oh yeah, you should all watch Kakurenbo tonight on Cartoon Network. I saw it at Otakon, and it’s got to be one of the most creepy pieces of animation I’ve ever seen. Speaking of which, TCM is showling 7 Miyazaki movies in January! I really hope they show the Japanese versions of them all; I really want to see Totoro without some annoying 12-year-old Dakota Fanning screeching in every frame. Frou Frou is an awesome band name.

Everyone keeps cancelling projects. First Savanna never does her movie, and then Robert cancels his. True, I understand completely - things take longer than you expect, and it’s a big job; it just gets annoying. Besides, I’m already too busy with other things to start any other projects. At least homework has finally cleared up some; I say just as the quarter ends and the projects for the next one will begin next week.

There, I posted.

Mini Golf is the meaning of life

October 6th, 2005 by Michael Strickland

This would be the day never to venture outside of your house. The crazies are out tonight, prowling the streets and the stadiums, moving in odd and mysterious ways. Strange sounds will come from their lips as they imitate evil itself: Mick Jagger. Yep, it’s the Rolling Stones concert tonight, and the traffic in Charlottesville got worse (I know, it’s hard to believe).

So, did everyone hear about the snake that got into a fight with a crocodile? Well, the snake ate the crocodile. Then exploded. Want pictures? We got ‘em.

Personally, I’m pretty darn excited about the Apple anouncement next Wednesday. Rumors are flying that the announcement will be about a new video iPod… which would be exactly what I’ve been waiting for. In my opinion, Apple has been doing some stupid things lately, but this would be perfect. True, it probably wouldn’t sell that well considering that the only reason the iPod rocks is that you can do anything else at the same time. But try driving a car or walking down a busy street with your face in a screen. But who really cares if Apple loses money just because I want a digital video editor for under $1000.

I got nothing else.
