C.D.

July 15th, 2005

I’m still a bit jumpy around insects at the moment. This whole incident reminded me of a dream I had a few weeks ago - at any rate, it was just as terrifying. It was nighttime, not a strand of sunlight reached into the dark valley. There were hundreds of people, all moving - swaying almost - chanting a strange type of sound that I couldn’t put words to. There seemed to be a stage, and then I realized it. Then I realized it: I was at a concert, Celine Dion and Rod Stewart concert. And I was Celine Dion.

Is it seriously Harry Potter time again? I, of course, being a real Harry Potter fan have… not preordered it. Come to think of it, I didn’t last year either. Wow, I must say that was pretty stupid of me; I wonder how long it’ll be ’til I can find it? Come to think of it, I’ve only read most of the books once or twice, but I must have listened to them about 10 times each. I can’t concentrate right now, my sister is talking about 1st graders who like the letter “Q”, and that’s kind of distracting me.

Ah, it is truly a magical night, and not because of the little wizard who could. Stargate season premiere tonight! Meh, you all probably think I’m suck a dork (cue Amanda’s comment about my dorkiness). I hope it doesn’t start stinking, I haven’t been too impressed with the commercials (and guess what? none of you care!). I’m getting distracted again - my sister is now talking about stalking her teachers. You know, finding their house, walking over their, sneaking inside and stealing lab coats. Have fun Amanda.

MICHAEL (insert middle name) STRICKLAND! I happen to love NOT ONLY the little wizard who lived but ALSO Stargate! I’ve watched it ever since the first season… sniff…

NO! No! no!… OMG! It’s like…what?…I mean…*faint*

I can’t believe O’Niell had to leave, that’s so wrong. I mean, he’s from MINNESOTA!!! Oh yeah, take THAT california! I, sadly, only started watching it January last year, but have loved it ever since.

So lets see, you and Alex…that makes two people that I know that actually know what a D.H.D. is. I’m amazed.

I can’t believe I cleaned today instead of reading Harry Potter. But hey, in my defense the kitchen floor was really bad.

P.S. I love my logic.

*shakes michael vigorously in an attempt to revive him from an apparent fainting spell*

I WAS SO UPSET WHEN HE LEFT!! I mean, he’s part of the TEAM, hell he IS the team… he used to be my only reason to watch the show, but I have since diversified my taste.

I just finished about an hour ago. SO SAD, BUT SO WELL WRITTEN! I wrote about it on the blog, with no spoilers to speak of in it.

I can see how kitchen cleaning could take priority… after all, food lives there and you have to eat in order to sustain life in order to read Harry Potter!

What are you talking about, cleaning is no reason to not read Harry Potter! I should be ashamed! Curse the kitchen, curse the ants! I’m only on chapter two, for goodness sake! Bleh, I’m disgusted with myself.

geez. i don’t even have the book yet and everyone is talking about it… Maria is, Helen is, Michael is, Bethany is…

i’m one of those people who wait a couple of weeks and then get the book after the stampede of crazy people has gone through.

that’s silly, sarah- then you’re late reading it and everyone tells you what happens before you read it! I would rather be doing the telling. ^^

Its ok, Michael. I CRIED SO MUCH

lee wishes he could’ve loved this one as much as the rest, but for some reason i can’t…

since i’m isolated, there really wasn’t much point in speed-reading, but i couldn’t help myself.

ugh i still don’t know how i feel about it yet

I speed-read too, but that was more so people couldn’t tell me who killed who before I read it in context.

The 5th book will always be my least favorite. The reasoning was awkward. The 6th — well, I’m still not sure since my mom stole it from me, but I like it better than that one.

Hi Michael! I finished the book… how are you doing on it? How are the ants? The little ones, not your relatives! ;)
No one here is very far into it so I can’t talk to them about it…

Michael- read it, read it, read it! I need more people to talk about it to! (Yes, I realize you shouldn’t end a sentence with a preposistion or whatever but give me a break, it’s summer!)

I was SOOOO annoyed with all of the people at that party this afternoon, only Savanna had finished reading it.

NEWS FLASH : YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD/COOL FOR HARRY POTTER!

I never said I was! I’ll start to fear for my life if I don’t finish it soon, though. Half the people at summer PE are ready to attack me for it, Amanda wants to kill me, Tess practically has me in a headlock…

You at least, Michael, are attempting to read it. others are just idiots. I wasn’t attacking you for not finishing, but tess might if you dont get around to it soon.
