Oh no, it’s an Ohmu!

One last post about Dragostea Din Tei, then I’m done, I promise! The guy that created the song was on the Today show yesterday and he performed the English version of the song. Or rather, some other guy (that sucked, by the way) performed the English version of the song (which also sucked, by the way) while the original Romanian signer said about 10 words. The main performer actually said, “let me hear you say, WOO, WOO!”. That was about the time I wanted to turn it off. Meanwhile, the song now holds the top three spots of iTunes Dance. And to think, some 19 year old from New Jersey is responsible for all of this (though surprisingly, wasn’t enough to get onto the Lycos 50. Shame.).

I got Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind yesterday and finished watching it this morning (no school, snow). Oh, it was so wonderful, but kind of disturbing as you saw the parallels between the poison spores raining down and the snow falling down outside, which looked exactly the same. I haven’t watched it in English yet though, I’m scared of Shia LaBeouf as Asbel. I can’t wait to watch Porco Rosso, now!
