Well, Bush won. I can’t say that I’m too surprised, I’d known that this was going to happen for weeks. A lot of people are very angry about this - bored on Thursday night, I watched about five minutes of Larry King Live, and they practically had to cut the caller off as she was basically yelling at the Bush supporters.

I guess I was wrong about it taking weeks before the courts picked the winner, I’m still surprised in a way that Kerry conceded. I still haven’t watched his speech, but I hear that there was a very interesting moment involving someone shouting out, “I’ve got your back, man!”. While the Democrats lost seats in basically everything (including Senate Minority leader Tom Daschle, who’s been in office for like ever), they made some Senate Victories however.

Recently, President Bush commented on his bipartisan plan for his second term. He said that Republicans and Democrats can agree to aggressively pursue the war on terror. Sorry, but that’s like saying “Republicans and Democrats can agree to aggressively fight gay marriage and abortion. Or like he said during his last press conference, how he plans to reach across the aisle to people with the same ideals. It just doesn’t work like that.
