Ah, every year Starz has a free preview weekend on DirecTV, and these are the times that I love not getting cable. So, I’ve got my TV set up to record a bunch of movies this weekend (in previous posts I mentioned how few movies I get to see, so this is awesome for me), and I started off by watching Lost In Translation. Excellent movie. It’s very different from most movies I see - a lot slower paced, but the story was amazing. It’s rated R, but it’s not that bad. No one else in my family liked it though (they stopped watching half way through).

Of course, having satellite TV also means that I don’t get any of the networks (yes, basically everyone I know, that means I don’t get The Simpsons), which I must say really stinks. I’ll get over it though.

This is the first year that I will need to do a science fair project, and as you can imagine, I’m not that happy about it. At least my sister has already taken Chemistry, so she was able to come up with the idea for an awesome project. I will be studying Collegative properties. In other words, how different ions and stuff, when dissolved in water, affect the freezing and boiling points of the substance. At least it should be more interesting than which type of light helps plants grow the most. Later,
